Shadow Lake

Taking its name for the massive shadow that Mt. Sledge sometimes casts upon the lake, Shadow Lake is known to be protected by merfolk. It is incredibly deep, and the merfolk who live there are mostly peaceful, though their numbers are unknown. The lake is rumored to have many great aquatic beasts, and perhaps even horrors, though these claims are most likely myths.
