Uller is said to be massive in size, and is believed to be the first of the giants. He is son to Aurelia and Auleos, and the god of death. Uller famously lost his arm in a duel with his half-brother Darlos, and ever since that moment he became more withdrawn and pensive. When exiled to Arnessia, he became obsessed with the mortal phenomenon of death. He was known to be caring and comforting to those reaching the end of their mortal coil. The gods took notice of his actions and were so moved by his actions that they offered to let him be the guide for mortal souls when they leave the material plane.

A common saying in Yondar is "taking the road to Uller", which means someone is dying. Uller's namesake city is where the arts of necromancy first surfaced amongst the mortals. It is believed that this gift was given to the mortals at the hands of Uller himself, as a way to slow his comings and goings, out of his compassion for the mortals.
