The rule of Ardis has long been governed by the Sorcerer Lords of the fourteen noble houses of Upper Ardis. In their grand chambers known as the Senatorium, they have overseen matters of Ardisian life for over 2,000 years. After the reforms of 505 YSK under King J'aramé II Vermitharr, they expanded their reach to the entire kingdom, now as a check and balance for the crown. As well as their reach, they expanded their membership. There is now a representative in the Senatorium from each of these cities: Xarnath, Mirehold, Uller, New Darlok, Thryddmalk, Londor, Gron's Pass, Mongrad, Stigg's Farm, the Hall of Ebrek, and now even Vorelisk.
