Ardis (Dragon)

From Grimoire Yondaris

The youngest child of Xyn, daughter of Aurelia, the yellow dragon, and the goddess of cities and bridges, Ardis was a builder by nature. She would frequently take humanoid form and constructed the first city, which was named after her. Her friend Estil made her home in the city of Ardis for some centuries as she brought forth the first elves. Among these first elves, Ardis became something of a poet, so much so that some of the dragonpriests began citing her words as scripture. Ardis became fascinated with psionics, and after completing the city, she spent much of her time meditating. She eventually took students, and the first of these became known as the Order of the Yellow Dragon.

Ardis is said to have inspired her sisters Vorelisk and Xarnath to create cities of their own. The monks that make up the Order of the Yellow Dragon are said to be the clearest of mind and strongest of hand. They make enemies of anyone who brings senseless violence to the realm.

Emblems and holy symbols of Ardis depict a yellow dragon.

Ardis is Lawful Neutral.
