Ebonwood

A dark forest with ancient, towering trees, the Ebonwood is no place for the faint of heart. The Cynairuíl of the Moonchildren protects the woods here, and they do not suffer intruders. So much so that the portion of the Warrior Road that cuts through the Ebonwood is actually a mile underground, not disrupting the wood itself. This construction was done with a band of royal appointees of dwarven and gnomish architects, along with some of the realm's most accomplished wizards. The Ebonwood takes its name for the black trunks of the Ironwood trees that grow here.
