The southernmost point of Yondar is practically inhabitable, as it is a massive desert. Darlok and New Darlok are on the last bit of plains before the desert, and Londor alone is built in the desert itself, and this is largely through genius implementations of magical engineering. Dangerous beasts and strange magical creatures make their home in the deeper parts of the desert, and there are few who have ever traveled there and lived to tell the tale. Is it believed there are thousands upon thousands of corpses in the desert, placed there by various criminals and murderers throughout the centuries.
