Mirehold

The capital city of Yondar, built on a massive swamp, Mirehold has never been sacked. The worst it has ever endured was during the Wars of Ascension when Bulrath the Butcher sieged the city for two weeks before it was broken by an army from Ardis. Castle Mirehold is protected by a moat and drawbridge, in addition to the finest stone walls in the land. Crime can sometimes be a problem in Mirehold, however, it rarely amounts to violence. Instead, thieves and gangs are involved in much of the goings on of the city, and there are always talks of corruption.
