The Ashlands

West of the Hammerson Mountains is a barren land where the skies are always grey, the air is hot and humid, and nothing grows. The Ashlands were magically drained of all its life force by Prigden as he built his empire of black pyramids. The land doesn't support much life, but there are rumored to be hidden sanctuaries in the ground for fleeing vampire spawn who no longer wished to be part of Prigden's tyrannical reign.
