The Nine Swords
There are nine legendary swords throughout the realm, swords made famous by deed and in songs, magic swords fit for only the best blade wielders in the land. It is said that if one were to be master of all nine, they would become the God of Blades.
Iron Heart
A "hand-and-a-half" sword, the Iron Heart is a legendary blade once wielded by King J'aramé Iron himself. This sword was protected by a sect of solitary monks in the Iron Monastery in the Hammersong Mountains. This sword can even call down a bolt of lightning, if the stories can be believed.
Desert Wind
A deadly sharp scimitar with a red-copper hue, the Desert Wind is said to be located somewhere in the Marrow Desert, once belonging to a Yuan-Ti warlord that lived there. Some histories suggest that this sword was crafted by Ebrek as a gift for that warlord.
Devoted Avenger
A surprisingly light falchion, this sword finds itself in the hands of those sword to avenge someone or are otherwise dedicated to some noble cause. This sword was said to originally belong to Gron, who lost it in a duel to the first red knight of Xarnath.
Diamond Mind
A brilliant and deadly rapier, the Diamond Mind once belonged to Stigg. Some called it his scalpel, as his precision with it was uncanny. This sword prefers to be wielded by the sharpest minds.
Dawn's Edge
This mithral short sword was thought to belong to Darlos, and is destined to belong to those who are truly champions of the innocent.
Dark Dirge
This dagger is believed to be a token of Xarnath herself, destined to do the darkest deeds for the largest rewards. Those who wield this dagger are known for their ruthless, deadly tactics in combat and are no strangers to subterfuge.
Fury
The sword of Prigden, this deadly greatsword is said to be made of steel as black as his heart. This sword has the unique ability to trap the soul of someone inside of it, much like a magic jar.
Dragon Fang
A kukri created as a gift from Uller for Ardis, the dragon fang is razor sharp and has a yellow-gold blade. Though Ardis was never known to use the sword, it is still considered an important artifact among dragonpriests.
Blade of the First King
Yon's longsword, sometimes called vigilance, the blade of the first king has long been coveted by the monarchy of the serpent kingdom, however, it has been missing for over a thousand years.
