Voxos

From Grimoire Yondaris

The Mother of All Scorn, goddess of vengeance, Voxos is perhaps the most dangerous of the wicked three. It was she who taught the children the forbidden life magic of the Eternals, in violation of the Pact of Progeny. Known to be unbelievably beautiful, Voxos's scorn is said to have begun with Ardis.

The daughters of Xyn were the first of the children of the Eternals. First came Vorelisk, child of Zanna, the radiant dragon. For a time, Zanna and Xyn knew love, but Voxos charmed him away, and thus was born Xarnath. But when Xyn passed her over for Aurelia and they had the child Ardis, Voxos fell into a silent rage. Many believe this was what spurred her on to teach her second child, Fangor, the forbidden life magic - act that started the Exodus of the children. Voxos is known to loathe Aurelia, some say out of jealousy, the more devout claim that it is because Aurelia's mercy makes her weak - that enemies should be destroyed one and all.

Those who call upon the Mother of All Scorn for favor must have a true call for vengeance - a hatred of sorts that she feels deeply enough and agrees that a slight must be mended. Voxos is the chief denier of Manzarek's ascension. In the Wars of Ascension, she conspired to manipulate the Matriarchs of Aurelia into denouncing Manzarek, and meanwhile sent her champion Abaddon to free her son Prigden from his imprisonment and have him ascend to godhood with the staff of Xyn (a plan foiled by heroes).

Emblems and holy symbols of Voxos depict a dagger through the heart.

Voxos is Neutral Evil.
