Xarnath (Dragon)

Xyn's second daughter Xarnath was born of Voxos. She is the shadow dragon, the goddess of deception. Xarnath craves adoration of others, and will say whatever she needs to in order to get what she wants. Her charm is fatal, and her city of Xarnath was one ruled with fear. Even Grondar the terrible paid her tribute when he sacked her namesake city. It was not until 3 ASK that Manzarek banished Xarnath to the etherreal plane that she did not rule the city.

Xarnath will bestow wondrous blessings upon those who give her proper tribute. She has a keen sense for knowing when a tribute is truly meaningful, so those who choose to bestow gifts upon her should do so wisely; the only thing greater than her blessings is her wrath. She is said sometimes to seek her dues from those who tell falsehoods.

Emblems and holy symbols of Xarnath depict a shadow dragon (usually onyx or a black diamond).
