Yon, the First King
Aurelia and Cybil gave birth to a son named Yon, a boy of remarkable charm and skill. Yon is the god of monarchs, and considered to be the first of the humans. Yon was the first to sit a throne in all of Yondar, placed there by his friends, Estil, Ebrek, and Xarnath. Yon was stern but fair, just yet sharp, and master of blades. Trained by Apotheos and Auleos in his youth, Yon was the only known master of the nine swords. His kingdom included the lands between Xarnath, Vorelisk, and Uller. Part of the first Serpent King's claim to the throne was that he was a descendant of Yon's royal line (as Yon had disappeared some 200 years before to live as a wandering swordsman).
When Yon was finally allowed to re-enter Celestia after the end of the Wars of Ascension, he gave up his crown and turned to his mother for mercy. She replied "uneasy lies the head that wears the crown". It was now his lot to watch over all aristocracy forever, ensuring that people act with honor and dignity.
Some tales of Yon depict him as the first lord of the hunt. Said to have the nose of a hound, the eyes of an eagle, the strength of a bull, the cunning of the fox, and the wisdom of an owl, Yon could track and slay any creature. Many hunters and rangers call upon him for aid in finding their quarries.
Emblems and holy symbols of Yon depict a sword through a crown.
Yon is Chaotic Good.
