Yondar

Yondar is the most civilized continent in the world of Arnessia, home to many splendorous cities and unparalleled natural beauty. Though the continent existed long before his reign, the continent takes its name from the Yon, the First King.

History

It is widely accepted by most theologians and disputed by few scholars that the Material Plane, and Yondar along with it were created by the gods as a means to split the heavenly plane of Celestia in two. However, many scholars (such as Jaared the Green of Londor) have given credence to the theory that in the time it took for the Eleven Eternal to complete the wall between worlds, life evolved on its own on Arnessia. Several archeological expeditions funded by the Ardisian temple of Ezra have gone to suggest that the first race that inhabited Yondar were incredibly similar to Halflings.
